I hope we can pull off a tie.A win against Lyon is pretty unlikely.

MERDE!
"6e BBBBUUTTTTTT!!!! 1-0 pour LYON! Malouda ouvre le score avec de la réussite! À l'entrée de la surface, le Tricolore contrôle de la poitrine et enchaine la volée: dévié par Plestan, le ballon prend Malicki à contre-pied, qui ne peut que l'envoyer sur son poteau...rentrant."

No f****** way.... .4-1 Lyon.Fred scored two quick goals in the 65th and 70th minutes.Lille's defense is playing terribly, and we aren't pushing to Lyon's goal.

the first half disproved what is usually true, that a good team will beat good players... lille was much more compact and organized, OL lacked rhythm and concentration, but individual talent seemed to keep us above water. i think houllier gave them a good tongue lashing at halftime, the second half was a different affair.
it seems strange to beat lille; my son declined to go  because he was sure we'd lose!

I didnt see the match. Did Lille push forward a lot or did they just sit back ?

I didn't see it either. Looks as if they absorbed pressure in the first half and pushed hard in the second. Looked to be a pretty even match.

I checked the attendence for this match and it says its was 22,500 which is a little more than a half full stadium. What does that low number say or mean ? It either means Lille fans hate the idea of playing in their rival's stadium and refused to travel the short distance to see the match or it means Lille dont have very many fans. Hey Id understand 22,000 if they played AEK or Anderlecht but against Milan it should have been close to a sellout. I dont know what to make of this.

That's good news for the team especially since we lost two consecutive Ligue 1 matches.
