Caen 1-0 Lille
Dissapointing result away from Lille. Caen's only goal came from a Tafforeau own goal in the 60th minute. Next match is at home against Stasbourg.
ALLEZ LES DOGUES!!

Week 12
Lille vs Strasbourg
---------------Sylva---
Beria--Lichsteiner--Plestan-Tafforeau
Cabaye--Debuchy--Makoun--Obraniak
----------Kluivert--Tahirovic------
A Lille win would allow them to leap frog over Strasbourg in the table.

Lille 0-3 Strausborg
Another dissapointing result. Lille outshot Strausborg 18 to 9, but Strausborg made the most of their chances with goals from Johansen, Rodrigo, and Mouloungi. Lille is currenlty in a scoring drought which needs to end soon as they plat Auxerre next week.

Lille 1-1 Nice
Yet another draw draw for Lille. Fauvergue got the scoring started in the 19th minute for Lille, but a Pletan own goal hurt Lille in the end. Our strikers really need to step while only scoring 3 goals the entire season. (I believe) Next game is Saturday at Nancy.

Yes, he did play on Saturday. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to watch the game, but I heard he played well.

Well they built a new training facility and a new stadium is on the way, so I don't think they have much to spend around now. As of right now, they need to spend in January because we are in TROUBLE!

Pierre-Alain Frau joins Lille from PSG for a 3 year contract. Great news because we really needed another attacking option and I think Frau can give Lille that.

Well he is an option but not really a good one. There is a reason he keeps changing teams. If he fails in Lille he should go to some place like Belgium or Switzerland because he cant cut it in Ligue1.

Rio to Lille huh? I haven't much noise from him at Villareal. Let's hope he can turn things around at Lille. I had tipped him to be something special a while back, im hoping he doesn't disapoint me.

He should do well with Makoun (when he returns from the ACN). Lille have been missing Bodmer in midfield even though both Cabaye and Debuchy are solid players.
Also, they won 3-1 at home against Le Mans, so that should do wonders for their confidence.

According to the magazines Mavuba was MotM as well. I think that it's a terrific signing, and though I don't expect he'll get into Domenech's 23, I do think this move will help him out.

Great win today for les dogues. Let's also celebrate because we got 3 goals today and we got a win, instead of a tie. I was not expecting Mavuba to be in the line up so soon, but it looks like it really helped. Hopefully, he will be the guy that will fill in Bodmer's shoes.

Lille has gone from relegation contenders to Europe contenders in a matter of a few days. That just tells you how tight it has been in the league this season.
Today's game against Caen was a great win as usual for les dogues. Scoring any goals have been a rare thing to see this season. Today, 5 goals we're scored. Lichsteiner has been pushed up more in the past few games and has been briliant. Our strikers are still not up to bar to where they need to be. When ever I watch Frau, he seems to be not in the game at all. It would be nice if we had the Kluivert of Barcelona on our team. That would help out a lot.;) The defence has been solid all year round and they have continued to play well even now. The season is starting to wind down and I am pretty confident we can push for a UEFA spot.
Allez les dogues!

Mavuba has been nothing short of excellent since coming back to France.

Mavuba has been the key for our recent turn around in ligue 1. I hope Lille can keep him from going back to Villareal next year. We can have a really strong push for the league if we have him for an entire season along with some new striking faces.
