Nothing like a scoreless draw to start L1.

Yeah, its depressing. Both sides could at least score one goal.

In the second week of Ligue 1 action, Lille will take on FC Metz. In 2005-2006,FC Metz was relegated from the first division. They have returned this season. Les Messins lost their opening match of the season 1-0 to Le Mans. Their upcoming match is at their home, Stade Saint-Symphorien. They will surely want to win their next match after a bad start to the season. The match will be played this Sunday at 18:00h (France time). The Nord newspaper, Nord-Éclair, had an interesting article about Les Dogues. The quote from the article read: “Face à l’hécatombe, il y a urgence” (faced against the bloodshed, there is urgencey) . According to the Nordiste newspaper, many LOSC supporters are worried about the club’s defensive line. The Lillois defense has two injured players. Metz has four players scratched (Bassong, Barbosa, Cardy and former LOSC player, Gygax). Last week, Lille tied their opening Ligue 1 match at home against Lorient (0-0). This next match may be difficult with a crippled defense, and a desperate Metz side. I predict a score of 1-1. Metz will play well, but they will only manage one goal.

Yeah, LOSC barely beat Metz. I wrote about it on my Lille blog. I have yet to see the match, but it seemed close.

Bastos took the corner kick and bent it in for a goal. It was very nice

Yeah, plus Lille's last 3 matches could have been played better, and the match is at their stade (STADE OMNISPORTS LÉON-BOLLÉE).

Puel said there's a possibility but it will depend on his form at the T time.

Did you see the new training center of LOSC ?! ;) It opened yesterday, it's fantastic, one of the best and modernest in Europe.

How are their stadium plans coming? For a growing club, it's sad that several L2 teams have better stadia.

From what I know about the Stadium plans, all the plans are done, it's just some red tape thats stopping them from beginning to build.

Expectations are still that it'll be complete for 2010.

Game v Bordeaux has just finished another draw, least we scored, decent team was fielded, Kluivert came on, on the 64th minute I wonder how he did, looking forward to the highlights

Not much. A good shoot, pivoting on himself, stopped by Ramé.

Awesome, looks great. Let's hope the stadium will be just as nice. Also, Lille needs to start winning. Enough with these 1-1 draws already.

Great result for Lille as they beat Valenciennes 3-0. New comer Kluivert scores on a penalty and goals from Lichsteiner and Plestan gave les dogues 3 points.
