They are pretty good now but they will always be in the shadow of Lens. They definately need to get more fans though. It is pathetic to look at them "at home" games.
Hopefully that'll change when the new grand stadium comes into being in 2010.

Daniel Gygax has finalized his on-loan move to Metz. The deal does not include an option to buy and he'll make his way back to Lille as soon as the season gets over.

Metz midfielder Ludovic Obraniak is anticipated to make the other way around.

In the meantime Samuel Robail is off to join National side Boulogne-sur-Mer on loan. The right winger and the twin brother of Mathieu Robail will take his part in Boulogne's promotion campaign till the end of this season.

I really hope Lille qualifies for the CL next year. They've made such good progress by reaching the last sixteen that they need consistency to establish themselves in Europe. Missing out next year would push back their progress.

Hopefully Puel can pull Lille through, I think he's a great manager with a lot of quality on his team.

Claude Puel (entraîneur du LOSC) : "Le scénario est le même sur nos trois derniers matchs. Nous sommes constants en dominant notre sujet avec une bonne maîtrise collective. Nous nous procurons pas mal d'occasions d'ouvrir le score et malheureusement, nous le faisons pas et sommes toujours dépendants d'un mauvais ballon qui traîne et d'un but comme ça a pu être le cas ce soir.
