View Full Version : Blackpool - QPR (R)
Anyone listening? Langley just scored off a freekick, 1-0 R's at 36 mins.
Langley then "lost" his shirt. Heh. No booking.
Shittu scores on 40 mins!...no dissalowed. Vast disagreement. Someone "pushed" the keeper. Linesman made the call. ***************.
2nd half...Langley again! 2-0 R's.
and Langley AGAIN! Hattrick for Richard Langley, 3-0 R's. Blackpool's finished.

Well done Langers. Well done R's. Huge 3 points.
Great result. I hope they keep going our way!

I may have to schedule that trip over for the playoff final if things continue at this rate :)
Here's a giddy, silly thought: Sunderland gets relegated, doesen't sell Reyna. QPR gets promoted. Our hoops go up against Reyna in the 1st division twice next season.
Ok I'll stop now. This was actually a blatant fluff post intended to get the thread to 10 replies. Yeah, that's it. ;)

It would be cool if West Ham went down and we got London derbys with those guys along with getting Crystal Palace next year.

FYI, after the Blackpool match, their manager ruled out catching QPR and getting a playoff spot.

"I'm not going to try and say we still have a chance just because it is mathematically possible," said McMahon.
"We ran out of bodies. While they were able to bring in two or three loan players to an already strong squad we were suffering with injuries."

Yeah, Blackpool's pretty much done.
What did one penguin say to the other penguin, sitting in the tub? Pass the soap, stupid!
Get it?
Ok, no one ever does.
How about Cardiff this week, eh? Talk about a big match. A win, and we're right back in the hunt for auto promotion; a loss, and it's look out for Tranmere. White-knuckle stuff.

That guy is a genius. 11 points out with 6 games to go. Not bloody likely!
Cardiff will be the test of the season so far and could be the indicator of how the playoffs go - assuming things end they way they are now.

Yep, as of now we'd play Cardiff and that would be a tough matchup. Getting a result of any sort this weekend in Cardiff would sure go a long way torward boosting the R's confidence going into that series. So long as we don't get a thrashing, though, we should be fine.
