I know there has been alot of discussion regarding how to watch live games on TV/internet but I would like to raise the issue again in an attempt to try and draw some solid conclusions.

In my venture to avoid purchasing a Sky package at all costs I have been told that other satellite packages also broadcast PL matches to the UK. I know this may not be important to some of you fans abroad but catching a live match here in the UK takes some doing I can tell you.

Today I found this:

http://www.satellitecentre.co.uk/item--LIVE-FOOTBALL--artQQShum

which broadcasts Art Sports channels showing matches, as proved by this link of schedules:

http://liveonsat.com/english_only.php?start_dd=19&start_mm=09&start_yyyy=2006&end_dd=18&end_mm=10&end_yyyy=2006

So it seems that this would be a reasonable package for a one off payment of £350 (if it is a one off payment  ). That's about 10 months of Sky viewing.

What I would like to know is are there any other similar packages to this where I can just buy the gear and watch the games without any monthly payments? Also does anyone know how good this package is?

Here are a load of streaming options I found in my travels if anyone is interested:

Don't know if they are any good.
