But it seems that as goes Smolaek, so goes Poland. When he was off, they sucked. Now that he's "on", they're "on".

I just hope he does the same for BVB this Sunday.

Oh yes he is and his goals werent simple taps in. 2 absolutely outstanding goals, quite shocking to see sth like that....form polish player :o.
I hope he can keep it up whole season this time.

So does every Dortmund fan. Every last one of us. Even if it is just a "hot streak", this time, it is at a time where the team needs him badly.
This is what I wanted to see from him. He's the only good thing going with the BVB team right now.

This is karnys problem. Just to make it clear - there is nothing anti-Germany in polish football fans attitude. The only hype we have here is when we are playing against England, articles about legenday Wembley all over the place and strong belief that we will beat England this time again:o. This happens all the time and I dont really get all this hype :rolleyes: . The only thing fans felt uncomfortable with was the story with Klose and Podolski but ppl got over it long time ago. So there is nothing anti towards you, sorry to disappoint you :D .

Oh I'm not disappointed. I think its great the Poles are at least more favorable to the Germans than to the English lol. :D I was just referring to karny :) (no disrespect to him, of course, either).

maybe during the world cup time my attitude coudlve been viewed as anti German-NT...but thats for very obvious and plausible reasons(June 14th..)...Other than that I don't really have a problem with the German NT at all..

It isn't clear if Frei or Valdez will play alongside Smolarek up front tomorrow. I'm hoping Valdez will be fit, but it looks like it will be Frei.
