sd card TO flash drive

i heard about a device that you plug in an SD memory card and a flash drive and it transfers the info, minus the use of a computer.

anybody heard of it? i can't find it anywhere.

I've never seen such a thing, but I would imagine it would be prohibitively expensive for what it does. To make something that small (which it would have to be to be marketable) that doesn't just read but also writes large amounts of information in (again, due to market needs) a short period of time? It cost a ton.
