Great set of matches this week chosen by GolTV. Very happy with the choices. :)

Just finished watching Hannover get their season finally under way thanks to new coach Deiter Hecking.

I hear GolTV now has a Highlights show for Bundesliga too on Wednesdays (Starting this upcoming week) so that's another great piece of news. :)

Damn, sorry. :D

That was not one of my intentions at all and sadly I didn't think about it that way.

What does "R" mean anyway?

[R] = Result may be mentioned in this thread.

It is for people who tape matches and don't want to know the results of those.

I'm new to Bundesliga as I had no TV access before. I'm glad its on Gol TV. Initial observations seem to be that GolTV definitely chose 3 good matches, all of which I watched. The style seems faster, more fluid than Spain or Italy, which I'm more familiar with. I'd just like to see some of the more big name players. I met a guy this summer from Kosovo who told me the German clubs have the money to spend, but don't want to spend it. True?

In my opinion, no. It's more like the Spanish and Italian clubs don't have the money but spend it nevertheless. The stricts concering depths in germany are stricter... real madrid would not be allowed to play under today's Bundesliga rules.

As I recall, the BL was shown last season on FSC...but I don`t remember how many ..or how many were live. It could not have been as much as we are going to get with GolTV...this is nice.

I was only watching LaLiga and IlCalcio last year...but as far as the Italian league..it was very boring thanks to Juventus. So I`m looking forward to getting into something new.

BL was shown once a week on FSC, but I think it was live. It wasn't so bad, getting any Bundesliga was okay by me, for that I won't criticize FSC for. Incidently, it was FSC (well Fox Sports World, but it changed into FSC) that allowed me to fall in love with Hertha, so I can never criticize FSC.

Im liking Hertha more and more that I watch them, plus they play in Berlin and in the Olympistadion (creepiest place on earth)

 If anyone has TWC in north Texas, seems they took GolTV off their format without any notice. They have not plans to bring it back nor do they have plans to put DW or ProSieben on their line-up.

DW-TV, here I come!!!

I'll take the extra Saturday game this week, but I'm not too thrilled the tape delay for the 2nd game (and 3rd) got nudged back 2.5 hours due to the Italian league game. Ich mag mein Samstag morgan fußball!
