Especially the second half:

I think he's right though. I few times Tevez appeared on the edge box with his back to goal and the players with the ball ignored him and passed it wide. Tevez plays more like Rooney I think and is able to charge into the box with the ball and finish, but our players need to give him the ball at his feet in that area.

I noticed that a few times, where he would stand in space perhaps 30 yds from goal and hold up his hand requesting the ball. Most of the clips I have seen of him, involve him receiving or running onto a ball 30-40 yds from goal and smoking 4-5 defenders on the way to a smashing finish.
I really wonder how he is going to fit into the team. His game and the way West Ham plays seem to be somewhat opposed. His size is definatly going to work against him in the English game.

..our players need to give him the ball at his feet in that area.Agreed, but Tevez is also going to have to learn to pass into space and not to the man. I seem to recall that one or two of his passes were behind a cutting West Ham player.
I suspect there'll be some kind of acclimation process, but that by December he'll be adjusted to the English game and be scoring in bunches. :D

you'll be suprised how well he can hold on to the ball. carlitos knows how to use his body very well. i don' t think his size will matter that much. i think the article hit it right on the nose, with carlitos liking the ball at his feet instead of into open space. but in time he wil adapt and start pumping in goals for you guys.

Like I said his game is closer to Rooney's than anyone else, especially Maradona  , and we barely notice how Rooney lacks heading ability because he puts so much into the game in other ways.
I expect Tevez to do the same in time.
