Murty slides in and disposses a man, out for a throw. Then the ball goes off a Sheffield player and out for a goal kick. 93rd minute. Hold on. Just hold on.

Hey, I can kind of understand what the Scandinavians are saying! They showed Ferguson and then said something about the United game next weekend at the Mad Stad, and also mentioned tomorrow's United-Arsenal game.

Oh, and Lita gets a shot from close deflected out for a corner. The corner doesn't end up resulting in anything.

94th minute. Free kick to Reading inside their own half. Goes to the keeper, who boots it up field. Possesion for Sheffield, then a cross into the box which is headed right to Marcus. Blow the whistle! Blow the freaking whistle! Cross into the box is again headed to Marcus. Yes! Its over! Woo hoo! Wow..that was too exciting.

I need to go take a nap. The last 30 minutes were draining.

I think thats what the Scandinavians were saying. They said the words "Man of the match" (in English), then said something about Sonko.

Could have done with the ref blowing the whistle a little earlier. I may be bad luck for this team. I've seen the Wigan match and this match from the moment United scored live. The rest I've seen on delay. So while it was agonizing to see Reading not be able to string passes together and boot the ball down the field as hard as they could United really never looked like scoring in that last 25 minutes. And that may be down to their lack of good players up front, as well as some excellent work at the back.

What more could I ask for? This is fantastic!

Nice 3 points on the road. Would've been better if Marcus had that clean sheet. How bad was that goal that he conceded in the near post?

Now let the Neil Warnock Meltdown begin. :D

must spread rep, etc., but a ton of thanks from all of us who found that our wives had signed up for a weekend of camping and outdoor crap in the german wilderness where they didn't have wireless (or a bar).
This is a massive result. Nine points in five games is about as good as I would have hoped for. In fact, I think it's one more than I'd predicted (optimistically). Nine wins and nine ties gives Reading a good chance to stay up, 10 wins and 10 ties probably seals it.
But the way this is heading, we're going to be more concerend about a Europe position in Feb than survival (man, that would be great).:D

No problem man, happy to do it. It gives me a chance to release some of that nervous energy during games, or otherwise I'd be tapping my foot about a billion times a second.

Definately, this has been about as good as we could have hoped for. And really, there could be at least one more point from that Villa game, when Sonko got the red card and Reading really didn't play poorly, considering the disadvantage. It really doesn't look like relegation will be much of a problem, and with any luck and a few points against the top teams, Europe could really could be a possibility. That would just be amazing for a club in its first year in the Premiership.
