According to the chronicle: Looks like Milner will be in and Solano out with a hamstring.
Babayaro and Bernard are out, and Rossi will travel with the team but not play per the terms of the loan.
Amoebi might be rested due to hip and not being fully match fit. I guess Sibiereski will probably get the start along with Martins if Amoebi can't play.

3-5-3? We'll always have a chance with 11 field players! :p

Put Luque out there for at least 20 minutes. Lord, he can't be that useless, can he?

I would like something more agressive... just for a change...
Duff---Martins---Luque
Emre---Butt---Parker---Milner
Taylor---Moore---Ramage

Duff would have to be on the right. Luque has shown very little ability, but even less when he isnt on the left wing.
Why put Butt in instead of Zog?

Zoggy as a ranging wing back as opposed to full back...go Roberto Carlos on em
Bold, strange but I like it;) and unfortunately has no chance of happening.

That seems to be the main problem with Newcastle. If any EPL team is stuck in the past it is us. We need a forward thinking chairman and manager/team that will buck the trend.

Our defence would need more protection in this formation.
Zog... maybe, on the left wing.

Babayaro and Bernard are both out for this game, meaning we have no left backs available, and N'Zogbia actually did play left back against Wigan when Babayaro got hurt. It's not as farfetched as you might think.

well its not like were are short midfiels players so, try him at defence... and it would be better to do it now than with west ham or manu...

I'd rather have him running through the heart of midfield as he would surely run riot through Levadia, but we really don't have much of a choice but to play him as a Roberto Carlos type-back for this game, I don't estimate.

Supposing they are both fit, I expect to see Carr on the left and Ramage on the right.

Are you high? Carr is a right sided defender. Always has been. At least as far back as I can remember.
Thx,
Jay!

The chonicle says Roeder is going with the same lineup as Saturday against Fulham, with the exception of Siberiski in for Shola. Milner penciled for the 2nd half.
Is it a law that we have to go with a "Target Forward" if at all possible? Luque has been crap, but he states he hates playing in the middle, why not a 2-1-3-4, with parker or emre playing behind the 2 strikers and let obi and luque run at the defense for a change. I've lossed faith in Luque, but he had to be decent at some point in time. Didn't he?

Do you ever watch international games? Carr has played leftback for Ireland before. He is primarily a rightback, but can play either.
I dont have anything to reference, but i am positive i saw him switch to the left last season for one or two newcastle games.

Sibierski just scored in the 9th minute, according to BBC. Header flashing across goal.
I'm still trying to find a radio feed.
