I noticed in an article on the FIFA site that the CAF is planning to schedule the preliminary stage matches in October and November of this year. However, I'm confused by this. How can they draw the teams into playoff series when the draw is on December 5th, 2003? Shouldn't they wait until after the draw and do it then? I mean, I'm glad they are starting this early, but it was just a little confusing.
