i tried to change my address 3 times and they never once got it right, so I gave up... (that whas when I lived in england). since I live in the usa its not even possible to sign up on their website if you dont have a uk address.
unless you plan on going to homegames and such, its not worth it.

I am going to england to see them in november. the fixture is November 25 vs sheffield united. do i even need to join the club to get tickets, or should i just wait for general sale? also, i have no premiership team at the moment, but i like west ham. do you think that it will really be terrible to choose west ham as a team to support?

If you have a history of heart problems or are already on prozac, then I would say yes.

We are everyones second favourite team. We won the world cup in 66. We are local, loyal, and frankly the biz. Cut me I bleed Claret!
Oh so do you!
I guess its in the blood then!
Oh and dont watch Green St hooligans.

I don't know about becoming a member of the club melvin, but you will need a club card to gain entry to a match, tickets are electronically issued & you will be supplied a club card with your client reference number, once you have the card, choose a game that you want to go and watch, contact the club, phone or email, and then the game you have paid for will be allocated to the card, which is swiped through a machine just inside the gates and allows entry to the stadium, much better than the old system of queuing at the turnstiles. for telephone bookings, 0870 112 2700

You dont need the card first, just buy tickets for the game you want when they go on sale, and they will send you a card if you dont already have one.
Melvin, you dont need to be a mamber, and if you dont live here then it aint worth it. The only real reason for being a member is it's easier to get tickets, but against Sheff Utd you shouldnt have a problem.
