You can see some smiles on Twellman and Noonan's faces. Avery John is playing. Good signs.

A card already for Joe Vide, NYRB, for taking down Dempsey from behind while he was running at the defense.

Noonan down again. ********

Big Red subbed in instead. Dorman probably moved up to the right.

Twlelman chance, no goal

Revs are really looking sharp tonight. A very nice 20 pass sequence that almost saw Dempsey find Twellman at the top of the box

I spoke too soon. At minute 40, Nicol is looking like he wants to play for a 1:0 result. :(

Dempsey got a card for something off the ball, didn't see what happened. Ralston gave him a talking-to as they walked off for halftime.

Dorman hasn't been in the game as much since Ginger Jeff came in as holding midfield.

Revs holding most of the ball, but not looking dangerous in the last half of that half I think. Hopefully Cancela will come in for Franchino at around 60'. Best way to protect a 1-0 lead is to score more goals.

Good first 20 or so, then we got a little sloppier. I think Cancela for Noonan would have been the smartest move (maybe Khano too). I think we need to start applying the pressure again and get Dempsey back in the midfield, he was playing out of his skin.

Jeff Parke just said the Revs move well off the ball. Lawls. Although its been more true this game.

I really don't get the Ginger Jeff sub. If we try to sit on this in the 2nd half, we are going to get burned. What did Pepe every do to Nicol? He thinks a 1:0 will hold like it did at Liverpool. Not when you've got Avery John and Jay Heaps back there.

Big Red has looked good out there since coming on, but I agree he doesn't bring the attacking creativity that the Revs need. Cancela would have been a bit more logical, moving Deuce to Noonan's spot and sticking Cancela in his natural role.

I'd be surprised though if Cancela doesn't come in during the 2nd half.

nice chance by Deuce and a good save by Conway...This game is opening up and I hope we can work some more one-twos through the midfield...
