El cañonazo que anuncie el inicio de la guerra está por escucharse. La batalla entre Cruz Azul y Pumas atrapa la atención del medio futbolístico, que pronostica un duelo emotivo y lleno de oportunidades en ambas porterías. Los dos llegan heridos: uno por las dos derrotas consecutivas, y el otro por estar ubicado en el fondo de la tabla porcentual. Pero los números pierden validez sobre el terreno de juego; es justo ahí, en la cancha, donde el ferrocarril celeste apuesta por el triunfo y por demostrar que los tropiezos sufridos no han sido más que piedras en el camino rumbo al título del Apertura 2006.

This should be a good game, like the article says you got one team (Cruz Azul) that wants to stop its losing streak at two games, and another team (Pumas) that is in desperate need of getting points to avoid relegation. I cant guarantee that i will be able to watch the match, but im going to try to. Name wise, it sounds like its going to be good, and then when you consider the circumstances of the two clubs it only reinforces the idea that both are going to play hard.

OK, if we play like we did v Pachuca then you won't be able to lose, even if you tried, but we are clearly better than that..... lets hope for a good exciting game, I do worry about us at the back, Velarde is good but still very young, and of course the whole Sideshow Bob issue, and your forward line will make mincemeat of the tinest error.... good luck, but I do hope you lose! ... we need every single point.....

hahaha, yeah I meant a game we can't afford to lose. I think it will be a good game. Stressful situations and mix in some in-town rivalry, what more could you ask for? Our back line is crap too, the only reason we have won anything is because the offense has saved us.

BTW, did you buy tickets already? The taquillas at the Azul opened up at 11am today, so good luck :)

Don't get me started on this....... ticketmaster started selling them 11am Wednesday, by the time I got there (only 5 of their bloody outlets in the city lower themselves to sell footy tickets) at 4pm, they had all sold out... Will go down to the ground early doors tomorrow am, if there is none left in the taquillas, I will probably find a tout... as I have often said, I would rather give them the mark up than ticketmaster... for the $80 tickets, they charge an extra $22:- thats over 25% mark up... scum).

You think we might see plenty of goals, then? Tuca may try and cancel you out as he did v Toluca, and start with 5-3-2...

It depends. If the teams come out firing every thing they have, then we will see lots of gols. Either because they played offensively or by making a mistake and counting too much on their offense and leving their backs exposed. If they play a tactical game then I can see it being a low score.

If Pumas does come out with a 5-3-2 than I think it will be a low scoring game. But I guess we will have to wait and see

cruz azul en mi opinion estava sin ganas, chelito pudo ver metido ese gol pero le pego sin furza y bernal se la paro... muy lentos estuvieron los cementeros...danilo deberia ver jugado...

what's new?? nothing we keep seeing the same weak defenders that should be playing in primera a like adrian sanchez, hector lopez. both were rescued from teams that were relegated. i hope to see mizrahi gone soon and see more young blood.
