I've been thinking of subscribing. Can anyone tell me if it's worth it? I assume they don't show live games or anything.
Also, can anyone tell me if the Palermo games are being shown live in North America?

HammerAddict subscribed on the basis that they streamed live games but it seems they don't.
Personally I don't see the point. If they let us download the movie files that may justify the cost but if not then someone always posts highlights on another site such as youtube, so you might as well save your money.
Streaming the matches live is the way ahead I think.

The term Whutv is misleading, the service offered is audio only.

Is it? How misleading can you get?
Maybe theu have future plans for visuals, but they shouldn't be calling it tv without them.

So WHUTV is streaming the Palermo game this Thursday, but only for the UK. ITV is showing the game live, but only for the UK. BBC FiveLive is streaming the audio, but guess what, it's only for the UK.
So much for growing the club as an international force. Yeah, I know it's all about digital rights management, but it's still frustrating.
Does anyone know if there is a stream or audio available for this game to those outside the UK?

This makes a change. Usually the matches are available to everyone except UK residents.
Woodcroft have you tried P2P streaming?

I've considered the P2P but wasn't sure if it was any good. Plus I have a mac, so most things don't work for mac, but I'm willing to try.
Can anyone recommend any good P2P services for a suffering hammers fan?

I have found it a bit fiddly TBH. P2P is easy to use it's just a case of installing the apps you want to use (PPLive, PPStream, TVants, etc) and then finding a site with schedules and links. Here's some I have found:
http://www.football4less.com/schedules/schedules_english.html
http://www.asiaplate.com/
I am not sure what support is given for MAC though.
Another thing is, I suspect because it's free, that quite often the stream halts and comes back after a few seconds, or sometimes it freezes altogether. That's, of course, if you get connected at all in the first place. It's still a young technology and the buffering clearly suffers when alot of people try and connect using the same link.
FLTV is a pay per game site which I have used. Again the quality isn't marvelous but you tend to get no interruptions during the game. I think they only show the PL games though.

Cheers for that. I will check them out. As you say, it's still early doors for this technology but I don't think it will be too long until it is more reliable.
It will be interesting to see how good this WHUTV streaming is on the O/S.

Let me know what it's like after the game Mark. I know tonight's match is not available over here but future matches may be.

Woodcroft, try this Brazilian web site, WWW.Radios.com.br/ It contains thousands of radio and tv stations from all over the world.I have not had 100% success with the tv links but its great for radio and have already been listening to BBC radio 5,radio Devon (born in Plymouth) and a Scottish sports station this morning, the reception is very good. What i would suggest as far as tv is concerned is to search for the countrys that might be airing the game live, outside of the UK,eg Italy,Israel and Argentina.Good luck

After advertising the game video feed being live on whutv, the audio is all that you can get. I feel like I've been misled by the club. Some things never change with this club.
