Mexican striker Abundis set to join Revolution (http://www.boston.com/sports/soccer/articles/2006/09/07/mexican_striker_abundis_set_to_join_revolution/), FDA, Globe.
According to Abundis, he's accepted the Revs offer, this year plus I guess 3 according to him. But he's already noted he's going to look back at Mexico for next year.

I'd be stunned if he were available for Saturday.

I'd be stunned if any of our "alleged" goal scorers showed up on Saturday!

Another long term improvement  Maybe he could get the same lawyer as Clint & Taylor and they could go somewhere as a package :D

So Abundis isn't signed yet but is returning to train here...the Revs have made an offer so Abundis' return would seem to bode well for him accepting the offer? Why come back unless you want to play?
oh yeah, bummer about Danny :(

I'm reading this as he has "signed" the paper work but it's pending league approval or something along those lines, it's just not offical yet.
Sucks about DH though :P

What does it mean when the day before a game the Pre-game thread is falling like a rock down the BS thread listing because no one is posting to it?
Is the game still on or is it cancelled for lack of interest?

One reason people have lost interest may be people are tired of going to this Baord and reading a constant string a bitching and moaning about the team, the coach, the owners, the play by play guys, the stadium security people, those who sit in other than the Fort etc etc etc. IMO, for many people who at one time were regulars the constant negativity has gotten old and they have stopped reading and posting.

Exactly what Doc said. It has nothing what-so-ever to do with how the team has played over the first 11 years. It's the people on BigSoccer that are the reason people have lost interest.

Abundis was on the sideline briefly before the game chatting with Craig T., as I jokingly said when I saw him, "He must be the new guy, because there is no way an American man would dress like that" :D

I'm glad to see you agree. It's not often that you are awake or focused enough to understand a point that I'm making. There may be some hope for you yet. :p
