We've got just about everyone available not named Owen or Ameobi for this one, looks like.

I'm hoping we see Rossi and Ollie for a bit in this game, I think it'll do them some good to hit the ground running. With Martins still fighting that deadleg I can't see us not going with a 4-5-1.

Reading nufc.com reserves' report it is looking like Olivier is short on fitness so I see him making the bench but he should not feature barring injury...

At this point, I would say he is definitely not tied to a country. In most cases, you have to play in a FIFA-sanctioned match for a country's first team before you are tied to that country.

Adu was subbed in during a friendly for the US this past spring but they still say he can play for Ghana. The reason: it wasn't a FIFA-sanctioned match.

FIFA-sanctioned isn't only a WC qualifying match or Euro qualifying match. I believe friendlies can be FIFA-sanctioned but only those played during FIFA mandated breaks.

My personal take on it is ... if you don't want to play for my country than F*CK off and play for whoever you want. I want my players fighting for the honor of my country.

Does it matter? It's all about being hard core and motivated to get the job done. Robert Lee, Shearer, Beardsley, Milburn, etc. those guys were hard-core, got the job done for NUFC, and that's what I can only hope Rossi does. Sorry, but I don't play the political nationalities game. As your boys the Police said, One World is enough....

LATE TEST FOR AMEOBI

Shola Ameobi faces a late fitness test ahead of Newcastle United’s St James’ Park clash with Fulham on Saturday despite making good progress on his long-standing hip complaint.

AMEOBI ON ROAD TO RECOVERY

Manager Glenn Roeder said last week the front man looked certain to be ruled out, but Ameobi has recovered well and returned to full training with the squad this week.

New boy Giuseppe Rossi is likely to start on the bench after sealing his loan deal from Manchester United, while defender Steven Taylor is a doubt after returning from international duty with an injured foot.

Fulham expect to have midfielder Michael Brown fit from a knee problem.
