Lets use this particular thread to post international tranfer rumors backed up with links.
This will cut down on the amount of threads started.
Once a international transfer has been confirmed, then a player specific thread can be started.

Could be a good move for the Revs. DCU and Chivas USA both shored up their rosters with internationals this past week, looking towards the playoffs. Revs just need some help right now.

Frankly I don't believe the Argentine league is superior to the Mexican league.
So to me this is a move sideways. This might help his hopes of going to Europe though.
Me personally, I am not too excited by the prospect of Oswaldo moving to Bostas Jr.

...after the 4-0, you gotta be serious in thinking this san oswaldo would go to boca...some may argue oswaldo has tried those colors b4, but, lets get serious...i just dont see boca fans welcoming any chivas to its team, just too painful memories along with hate come to their mind...no discusion on this one, plus they just got a decent goalie...no way, if oswaldo goes he can say bye forever to his retirement at chivas...:cool:...another media note to boost sales/ratings...

This rumor was also reported by the Mexican press:
"Ayer por la tarde, comenzó a surgir la versión de que en próximas fechas Boca Juniors de Argentina, realizará una oferta al guardameta rojiblanco para que juegue en el equipo que dirige Ricardo Antonio La Volpe." The article continues.

I think that a very telling sign about the validity of this rumor is the fact that the local (argentine) press has not so much as mentioned the possibility. This seems like another one of those bullsh!t rumors.

The Argentine press has mentioned the possibility of Oswaldo going to Boca Juniors. The links that Rebano Sagrado provided are from the Argentine press.
The Mexican daily "ESTO" asked Oswaldo about this report and he answered:
"No me desagrada la idea, pero tampoco me quita el sueno, hasta no saber algo oficial. Boca Jrs. es un equipo ganador, conozco a La Volpe, pero repito, hasta que haya una oferta oficial podremos hablar del tema". The author of the article makes an amazing conclusion: "Es obvio que Oswaldo se iria al Boca en diciembre proximo y las gestiones tendrian que iniciarse entre directivos: Mauricio Macri y Jorge Vergara". The author uses very strong language in the above statement (ie. obvious). I did not see anything in the article to merit such a conclusion. Perhaps the journalist has more information that he did not provide in his report.

...i have been talking about the mexican press in some of my posts and there it goes another example...it just sucks...there is obviously a lot of interests involved and they show in this form all the time...dont believe the hype...:cool:

Oswaldo Sanchez had an opportunity to play for Recreativo Huelva(Spain) but didn't take it.
Señaló que aunque hubo una oferta concreta del Recreativo de Huelva de la segunda división de España, decidió no aceptarla, pero aún mantiene la ilusión de emigrar, "esperemos que más adelante, podría ser de hecho este diciembre acabando el torneo".

Guadalajara, México (28 octubre 2006).- Ante la carencia de delanteros por la que atraviesa actualmente el ex campeón alemán, Borussia Dortmund, este sábado estuvo en el Estadio Jalisco un directivo del equipo teutón para observar a los atacantes de Chivas.
Sólo con las referencias del pasado Mundial de Alemania, Fred Prussak, empresario e inversionista del Borussia, viajó a México para ver el desempeño y se encontró con la grata sorpresa de la dupla de sinaloenses, conformada por Omar Bravo y Alberto Medina, quienes se lucieron en el Clásico Tapatío.
"Me parecieron jugadores muy interesantes y seguiremos observándolos", explicó Prussak al término del encuentro de anoche.
¿Podrían ir Bravo o Medina al Borussia en este invierno?, se le insistió.
"Quizás, o también quizás para la próxima temporada (para el mes de junio)", respondió un Prussak muy sonriente.
Asimismo, el empresario alemán mencionó que están muy interesados en comenzar una relación estrecha con Chivas.
"Nuestra intención es tener muy buena relación entre el Borussia y Chivas, que es un gran equipo del futbol mexicano", aseguró.
Por otro lado, Néstor de la Torre, vicepresidente del rebaño, explicó que la visita del directivo germano es parte de la buena relación que desea hacer la institución rojiblanca con grandes equipos europeos.
"Hay buenas relaciones y se están haciendo más contactos (con el futbol europeo) para cualquier tipo de convenio o intercambio y tener la posibilidad de realizar partidos o torneos", mencionó De la Torre, quien agregó que Prussak vino a observar a todo el equipo de Chivas de manera general.
El Borussia es dirigido por Bert van Marwijk y en su plantilla cuenta con los brasileños Tinga y Dede, ambos mediocampistas, además del defensa paraguayo Nelson Valdez.
