A few of us stuck around to watch the reserves match yesterday ... we lost 3-1. Smith scored on a PK in the second half, that was the only goal we got on the weekend.
Sims was taken down by one of the Crew guys right about at midfield but it could have been argued to be a straight red (not the yellow that was given) for the last defender taking him down. He was taken down hard, elbow to the chest ... and he was hurt. Left the game a couple of minutes later, and was seen holding his rib area the rest of the time.
Spoke with him quickly after the game and he was not too optimistic, we'll have to wait and see, but we might have lost him for a bit.
Had some fun picking on the ref and the linemen, as well as Kotschau...
That's about the only thing I can honestly think of saying about this weekend. At least the fans showed up.

Aren't the Crew reserves the only ones worse than us? Not looking to bright that we have one win in two months and the reserves are in last.

The Crew Reserves looked like another team, according to those who have seen the Crew Reserves play. The Crew plainly kicked our ass this weekend (except for the their fans).

I think Monty's being modest here...The ref blew a few bad calls and then finally called a foul in our favor to which monty yelled "you finally got one right" The ref pointed at the linesman (who rudely rejected our repeated offers of beer) and said "nah he called it for me"
Let's see if that guy works another MLS reserve game....

They were - now we are tied with them as last in the Reserve League.
Didn't our reserves too fairly well last year - yet another sign that we have not added to this team and our depth has been seriously compromised.

We waived, what, 8 reservists in the off season?

Well, Larentowicz was captaining them last year. That's clearly why they did well.

If you check the reserve line ups all season you will see that we have had to use a number of guest players just to field a team. I don't think the Developmental roster has been at full capacity until just a few weeks ago.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he's currently with the U-20 USMNT, and probably wasn't at the game.

imo, it's a good survey too. seems liek they are starting to ask the right questions. It's really a look at who comes and why and what will make you want to come more.
seems like they get a little better at asking the right questions each time they do this

WTF is Anders Kelto doing playing for the Revs reserves? I think he's the Brown assistant coach.

He's played for the Reserves a good bit this season. The Revolution regularly taps former college players residing in the area to fill out their Reserve team, game day rosters, signing them to 3-day contracts I believe.

Geoff Walker is also a Brownie... and I believe Cross is BU.
