Tuesday: Beating Northampton Town 3-1 (first away win of the season), Bradley Orr gets sent off for headbutting team-mate Louis Carey.

Thursday: Dave Cotterill sold to Wigan for £2m, literally 90 minutes before the transfer window shuts so the money can't be used to bring in a suitable replacement.

Friday: Orr, team captain Steve Brooker and washout Dave Partridge are jailed for an assault on some scumbag bouncers a year ago. Scott Brown gets off with 100 hours community service....

Saturday: .... leaving him to score City's only goal against Brighton, to win 1-0.

Heard about a couple of these already. Getting sent off for head-butting your teammate is stupid, especially considering he had a court appearance coming up. Are any of them likely to get fired?

Which does remind me of the Forest Green player who did something similar against Halifax a couple of years back. Punched (I think) his captain and never played for them again.

nothing concrete's going to happen until the three of them are released - Brooker and Orr in about a couple of weeks (the judge said they would serve half), Partridge in a month. Partridge was the principal aggressor in the assault, plus he was on loan to Leyton Orient at the time, so the worst possible punishment would be to recall him and leave him to rot until January :D
