Equipo campeón de 1951
1951 es quizá uno de los años más significativo en la historia del Atlas, cuando venciendo uno a cero al Guadalajara se corona Campeón de Liga. El gol fue a notado por Edwin Cubero y el cuadro titular de ese partido estaba conformado por: Raúl Córdova, Aldrete, Zetter y Ornelas; Guillermo del Valle y Novello; Velázquez, Novo, "Dumbo" López, Mercado y Cubero. Además adquiere el título de Campeón de Campeones venciendo al Atlante por la mínima diferencia. Todo esto bajo la dirección técnica de Eduardo Valdatti.

I didn't watch the game but from the highlights it looks like they were dominating for the most part until late in the second half...
I'll take a tie on the road any time... But I know we can play better... Fuentes wasn't missed much was he?

like I said, we don't need him, he use to make a lot of stupid mistakes that cost us many points. Plus with him gone, we have now a reserve player covering his spot.

Guardado wanted to join in with the scoring fest but his shots were blocked :( Well then again he is the only one that shoots from outside the box ;)

ok, looks like goyo torres is doubtful for tomorrow...and was it me or did danny osorno look a bit overweight on wednesday night?? i hope he starts tomorrow if torres can't go... si ganamos mañana, nos afianzamos como superlideres, y sigue un partidazo contra el toluca, reviviendo aquellos clasicos a finales de los 90s/principios de los 00's...

effin atlas disappointed me. i had two atlas players in my liga fantastica team. good they they were midfielders and not defense. looks like you guys do miss fabrisio.

It's only the second loss of the year but damn does it sting... Specially coming after two very put together wins... I did not see us losing that game, it really came out of left field.
To those who watched it, did we just play bad over all or what?

I checked out his old teams page and he is not on their roster, so i don't know where he is at and when i google him nothing new comes out.

Si, pero lo bueno es que no perdemos tampoco... 3 empates en linea...
Jugamos contra un Cruz Azul que no anda bien... yo creo que al fin ganamos uno.. si no 2-0 talvez 3-1. :D
