At the taking of a kick-off which way should the ARs be facing? Should they be facing the field, with their feet perpendicular to the touchline? Or should they be turned, facing the center circle, feet parallel to the touchline?

Just wondering. I have my opinion but it differed from a fellow instructor, so I thought I'd ask for y'all opinions.

I stand facing the field, looking at the CR, and ready to start my watch.

In general, the AR is supposed to be square to the field, unless speed is needed.

Or unless my thighs hurt from ARing 2 games earlier and side stepping is becoming harder and harder :).
