there is one problem english clubs are only allowed 3 non european players in the match day line-up (this is what i heard..) meaning the odd man out will probably john panstil who is currently injured, but there will be plenty of time for him to play no all 3 players (benayoun, mascherano, tevez) will be fit each match
this is my starting 11 w/o the special english rule..
--------------------------Tevez-------Ashton (Zamora, Harewood)---------
-------------------------------Reo-Coker (c)------------------------------
----Bowyer (Etherington)--------------------------Benayoun--------------
------------------------------Mascherano--------------------------------
---Konshchesky-------Gabbidon----------Ferdinand----------Panstil (Mears)
--------------------------------Caroll------------------------------------
This is a very strong line-up.......with zamora, harewood and etherington coming off the bench west ham can easily make a push for a CL spot this year or maybe even a title challenge:eek:
both argentine stars will be available for the game against villa next week

Switch Bowyer and Benayoun, Bowyer can't play the left side.

The only stipulation is that non EU passport holders must have a work permit. Thank about the number of non EU players club like Bolton and Portsmouth field.

I hope your right, I heard the rule from Israeli TV. I'm thinking about Bolton, Tal Ben Haim and there new Iranian signing are the only guys that don't hold a european passport. The other Israeli Idan Tal who plays on the team holds a french passport as well. Jamaican Ricardo Gardner holds a british passport too.
Well as for Portsmouth it looks like the same thing...
Lualua - holds an english passport
the only starter who don't i believe are benjami and kanu

----Bowyer (Etherington)--------------------------Reo-Coker--------------

Can't drop Yossi, he is the play maker that makes the whole team click.
You could play Harewood on the right wing though:
..........Tevez........Ashton...............
Yossi..........Reo Cocker..........Harewood
.................Mascherano......................
..Konchesky..Ferdinand..Gabbidon..Painstil..
.....................Caroll..............................

yossi benayoun is the key player at west ham he is the playmaker...there is no way he will be on the bench......and in the epl its very hard to play with 3 midfielders

What about this:
..........Tevez........Ashton...... .........
...................Yossi..........................
Ethers........Reo Cocker..........Bowyer
.................Mascherano....................
..Konchesky...Gabbidon....Ferdinand
.....................Caroll.........................
It leaves us vulnerable defensively on the flanks but gives us a great attacking formation when (e.g.) we are losing and need to go all out for the win.

I think that Green will be our first choice keeper.

Anything called a Johnny Spectre should be fronting a band, not playing football

Who?
We bought him from MU and never for one minute did I think he was going to be in the first team. Still, he has a couple of years to see if he can make it in the Prem and I think his chances are better with us than MU. He will probably play some cup games and if we get a few injuries might even get some league games.

At this point, I guess Spector is the #2 LB, the #3 RB, the #4 CB, and maybe even the #3 DM. He will probably see some time at LB or CB eventually. Although once McCartney comes back then he will have to compete with him at LB as well.

So spector will be the lead. McCartney on bass. Marriachi on marracas. Does anyone have a mighty organ?

Wow. Seeing this formation is very impressive.
Once Ashton comes back and he and Tevez get accustomed to each other they should be incredible. A couple of terrors for opposing defenders.
That is a lot of steel and creativity in the midfield.
Youth at center-back might be a problem, but they are extremely talented and did a good job last season.
I'll watch with interest for sure. Good luck.

It does look good mate.
Switch Etherington for Bowyer on the left, see how Green gets on in goal and you've got it. I think that Bowyer will be used a lot though - he's had a great start to the season, but if we are looking to play down the wings, on that side Etherington would be my first choice.
I would expect Pardew to pretty much always play two of Ethers, Yossi and Bowyer depending on tactics. Mullins will get a look in too.
I was impressed by Kuyt's first bit of action - I think you've made an excellent signing, looks well up for it.
