Brenham... playing P-N Grove at Reliant as I type... (alot of my students come from Brenham HS and we live there now). I used to still root for my alma mater Alief Elsik some a while back... but I won't even drive through that part of town anymore much less go to a game out there. My parent fled from Alief like refugees from a warzone shortly after I graduated HS in 1991.

The year y'all lost to Plano is the state finals ('87) my high school - Alief Elsik - gave y'all the toughest game of the year, losing 7-6 in the final game of the regular season. I can't remember anymore whether we missed an extra point or went for two and didn't convert. I always thought y'all looked just like the Green Bay Packers... and your stadium was huge and awesome.

It's still huge!But a little run down now.
