The Hammers website has confirmed the signing of Tevez and Mescharano; these guys are good! let's hope they don't get injured on Saturday against Brazil. They're playing in a friendly at the new Arsenal stadium. It'll be interesting to see how Pardew uses them when he picks his first team next week.

So here's my take on this deal...
We buy a stake in the ownership of the two with the right of first refusal to purchase the balance at season's end. If we decide not to buy out MSI for either then we sell on, and take our cut along with MSI getting theirs.

I just can't see us buying them out right now unless MSI have negotiated huge sell-on's if we sell down the road.

I was thinking the same thing...considering Tevez was valued at somewhere between 90-120 Mill. USD wasn't he?

Excellent signing, Hammers.

It's great to see this quality of talent go to somewhere else than just Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool or Arsenal. I think you guys have a very good chance of qualifying for the UEFA Cup this season.

No way those sums where involved... he cost 22 mil USD when he went to his last club... that was less than 2 yeas ago... Mascherano cost 15 mil... so figures close to that would be expected...
