Reserves in action against West Ham which included Teddy Sheringham.

We won 3-1, goals from Charlie Lee, Dervitte and Maghoma. According to the reports Reto Ziegler kept on delivering superb crosses into the box.

8mins: GOAL - SPURS. Same corner routine, this time Ziegler's cross powered home by Lee from 12 yards.

17mins: GOAL - SPURS. Silly foul in the right channel. Ziegler clipped in inswinging free-kick met by Dervite, unchallenged, simple enough headed finish from six yards.

OK, so how is Dervite doing? I thought he was very highly rated in the French youth circuit? I see we're playing him in central defense--which always seemed more likely than the originally reported position of fullback because he is 6'4" or somesuch. But reading between the lines, it appears that Dervite is behind our very own Charlie Lee. I didn't think Lee was much of a contender for the first team, so I'm a bit disappointed Dervite isn't ahead of him.

I saw in the programme yesterday the under 18 results and scorers, Pekhart is hammering in the goals. He plays in both reserves and under 18 teams.
