What is probably going to happen is Stephen Hart will use the next 2 games to determine who will be team for the European game in November. So obviously Sutton will get one game in net and Stamatopolous will get the other game as the starting goalkeeper. Will whoever does better be the starting keeper for the European game in November? Hart even said in the recent article he was going to spread around between the two games.

I'd *seriously* consider putting money on Lars for the European game. Trust me, I'm privy to some inside knowledge.

Well, keep dreaming Daniel, my sources tell me that top CSA officials have ordered a hit on Lars Hirschfeld. The plan they put together some 15 months ago will be finalized in the next few weeks when some CSA secret agents trained by the Mossad will eliminate Lars from the face of the earth.
I'm a bit frustrated seeing that the CSA is spending money to kill their own players instead of organizing quality games for our MNT.....

Actually the article indicated that only players who played in atleast ONE of the two Jamaica games would play the European game.

Lars has become too powerful for his own good and must be eliminated. :D

This thread is not about Lars, it is about Canada's top two goalkeepers Sutton and Stamatopolous. What does Lars have to do with anything in this thread?

I heard a rumour Lars has joined a Norwegian death metal band. He spends most of his spare time serenading groupies with lyrics about the futility of existence and nihilism.

Lars's hair emanates a strong aphrodisiac. That's how he went from PDL to EPL in one season. He was forced to shave it because he was getting too much ass in Europe to stay concentrated on his game.

Instead of slagging Lars and posting girlie pics why doesn't someone offer some discussion of the game?
I'd start with how in hell does Montreal only put 5,000 bums in seats for an international with Jamaica? Absolutely pathetic.
Looking forward to seeing the game on Monday. I hardly remember what our players look like.

First, I think people in Quebec are often unaware of the level of play of our MNT. Now that we have a new infusion of Quebekers in the team and IF we start playing a friendly once in a while in Quebec I think the crowds will get bigger.
Second, it's a big weekend in youth soccer, big tournaments plus playoffs won't help.
Third, I think 6 000 or 7 000 would be a good crowd for this kind of match.
In my case I won't attend due to having to play a playoff game monday night and I'm very frustrated about it (5 guys on my team wanted to go to CCR for the game)....I will watch the game on TV before going to my game, at least I will see it live.
I'm glad that we'll see DeGuzman, Radzinski and Stalteri, I think we have a strong lineup, the defense being our weakest link I feel (I think Reda and Pozniak will have to play at an higher level if they want to continue to be call).
Just too bad that Hutchinson won't play.
Here's my starting lineup:
Sutton
Stalteri Reda Mckenna (C) Simpson
Bernier DeGuzman Brennan
Hume Friend Radz
What do guys think about this back 4 with Stalteri in central defense? Braz Stalteri Mckenna Simpson

Shouldn't you wait until after the game to comment on the attendance? I seem to remember your Alberta neighbours in Edmonton not doing a whole lot better attendance wise for actual WCQ games. I for one am hoping and expecting a better turnout than 5000.

Then again, I've heard more from some CSA people today. We'll just have to see.

Lars is permenantly excluded from Canadian Soccer, and that has been known for well over a year. Anybody who says otherwise does not have a clue what they are talking about. That would include most people on here since almost everybody picked Lars to start 1 of the 2 Jamaica games and of course were wrong.
