19 kroners ($4 around) for a Carlsberg in a bar.
20 kroners for a 6 pack in the store though. Nice deal.

Had the Belgian beer "Affligem" I believe is how it's spelled. Very yummy!
BTW, I love being able to have a couple of pints at lunch. If I could just get my own private plane, I could work here and fly home for Revs home games! And imagine the road trips, I'd pick you guys up and we'd fly for free! ;)

Tried the Sam Adams White Ale brew, the supposedly brew of the spring. Nasty stuff.

I'm not a big fan of the White Ale myself. I don't think it's quite "nasty", but yeah don't think I'll be buying it again any time soon.

Same here. It doesn't matter which brand, I just don't like white ales.

I never thought I'd run into a Sam Adams I wouldn't drink, but the Cranberry Lambic made me want to vomit.
Holy shit was that ever not my style.

In case there's someone (besides me) that wasn't aware of the impending flow. It'd be nice to get all 6 kettles going.

Well, we get those and all we'll need is the Guinness Surger (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUcr-8KxH2g)

Hmm... looks like I am going to be spending more of my tax return. Surger and the Sam glass sounds like a good combo.

trader joes in cambridge has stockyard oatmeal stout. personally, it's probably my favorite oatmeal stout (and oatmeal stouts are my fave). since it's trader joes, it's pretty darn cheap too. Only once have I been there and they were out. You will not be disappointed when oyu try it.

When I was in Paris a couple months ago I tried several beers, most of which were delish.
-Afflingem-very nice, Monty mentioned it earlier. Full of flavor, of the Belgian variety.
-Kronenbourg 1664-light, I think it's a pilsner, but very nice
-Belge Blanche-belgian, of course, quite tasty and drank it in an irish pub in Montmartre after the Murphy's they brought me turned out to be tiny, kind of like the French, and it came in this girly glass with a lemon. My uncle made sure I felt like less of a man after receiving it.
-Pelforth-another light but tasty brew from the cafe down the street from my hotel. Place was called Cafe Italia, run by a Frenchman.
