I speak Italian fine, but from what I've read, they were tributing the Italians massacred.

I repeat, Yugoslavian partisans only killed fascists, wether Italian or not. Unlike you Italians know history, that's why they tributed Tito. Listen to the game and you'll find out by yourself, there's no point in speaking about something you clearly never heard.

As for Tito, yes, there is an affection by Croats because he was half Croatian.

lol, the ustaše aren't proud of that, i believe.

Perhaps you should throw away your papers from Rifondazione Comunista, because they cloud you.

I have read multiple books on the subject, you can even find some of them online, like this one for example:

http://www.cnj.it/foibeatrieste/

Even the former President Ciampi agreed to commemorating Italians in Yugoslavia. Even he agreed that civilians were killed. Now I dare you to come and say that former President Ciampi (who is LEFTIST by the way) is a Fascist. Say it right now.

Ciampi is a fascist :D

Joking aside, Ciampi's an idiot, he and his atrocious hymn-singing, tricolor-waving rhetoric. Oh, and he's definitely not a leftist, he was the president of ICB and a member of PLI.

Why don't you tell a six-year-old child that he is a fascist?

No 6 year old italian was killed by yugoslavian partisans in non-war actions

I'm also assuming that you consider "Il Cuore Nel Pozzo" to be "Fascist propaganda"?

That's exactly what it was, in addition to being totally anti-historical. No wonder it was promoted, financed and hyped only by self-proclaimed fascists belonging to former MSI.

And I also assume you support the ex-PCI's ambitions to ally with Yugoslavia by ceding territory as far as Venice to appease them?

Mmmmh, you mean in 1945?? Nobody wanted to surrender Yugoslavia that territory.....

Of course, I doubt you'll also make mention of the rape and terror fascists and spies in Trieste faced after Tito occupied that city.

FYP

Smrt Fasizmu, always

Mattteo,

I agree that Italians know history, and Italians do know about the Foibe exodus. It is in history, whether you like it or not.

As for Ciampi - are you kidding on saying that he's not a leftist? You do realize that he was a minister in the 1996 Prodi government, right? And that he overwhelmingly approved of a Prodi installment in the premiership (he voted "Yes" in the vote of confidence)?

By the way, if you want to play the link game, I can too:

http://www.cronologia.it/mondo38y.htm
http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foibe
http://www.sicilianculture.com/news/2003-genocide.htm

As for the Italians being knowledgable about history - I hope you know that the Italian parliament approved a statute that would make a day in February a day of remembrance for the victims of the Foibe.

Of course, I don't blame Croats and Slovenes for it today, after all, they aren't responsible. But to claim that it simply "didn't exist" or that it was all "fascist purging" is plain ridiculous.

By the way, why exactly did you alter the end of my post to "fascists and spies"?
