Anyone into the Coca-Cola or Pepsi bottles? Another niche market but there is a following.
The one to see, though probably worth a nickel or dime, are the 1984 Soccer/Football can, and the 1994 World Cup commemorative with the logo and flag.
Obviously, if they still have the drink in the bottle and unopened, it's worth more.
One of the interesting cases is the David Beckham Coke version with him in his England kit. Obviously, he has a personal endorsement with Pepsi and so interesting he ended up advertising for a rival. I don't know if there was any dispute on this but if this was an American athlete it would have raised a red flag.
Also, one of the guys here (think it was Bill Reeves) scored on a Coke bottle from Korea--World Cup edition... a cool collectable and discussion piece, though one of the kids ended taking a drink from it at one of the tailgates.
Pins are another niche market but that's for another thread.
Discuss. Cheers!
