Yea, he didn't play against Cyprus and I didn't think he'd be ready yet. If Cyprus beat Ireland like they did, I wonder what will happen against the Czechs.

Oh man. The Syrians are on and tackling Seol like there is no tomorrow; and this is the first half! He already once had to be carried out, but came back in.
Seol needs long rest..

Blah...
Game ended 1:1 with Syria. The important thing is we secured a spot to the Asian Cup, I guess.
Seol looked exhausted out there, not to mention all those fcked up tackles. Our coach didn't even use ANY SUBS today.
I hope Seol does well for Reading this week. Hopefully he can rest there. Although there is one more qualification game left, Seol won't be expected to come back to Korea until the Asian Cup starts in 2007, probably.

That sucks that he got hacked so much. I hope he can regain fitness by Saturday.
Ivar played in Iceland's 2-1 loss today against Sweden. I don't know why Gunnarsson didn't play.

LMAO, This is what's left of SEOL leaving for England in the Airport from the night of Syria's match.
Not only he got hacked, he got bitch scratched. LOL

I'd completely forgotten about today's international fixtures. Doyle scored for Ireland in a 6-0 win over San Marino. Got taken out in the 63rd minute, which is good. I don't think any of our other guys played.

Thanks for the info on that. I wish Long would have been able to score.

Might as well bring this up again.
Hunt and Long get the call for Ireland. Lita gets called up for England U21's. Andersen called up for Denmark U19's. Federici called up by Australia. Golbourne and James Henry called up to England U19's. Murty called up by Scotland. Seol called up by South Korea.
And, the one I really didn't want..Convey called up for Mexico.

I just feel that it isn't really necessary to take him when there are two other pretty good options at that position and Convey is trying to get back to full strength. Taking him out of training for what it is ultimately a game with very little meaning just isn't ideal right now.

Fair enough... That said, if he is going to make the trip I hope he does play. In terms of Reading, the more Bobby gets into high level games the sooner he can be a valuable force again for the Royals. In terms of the USMNT, it would probably give him a boost to know he fits into Bradley's plans in some non-trivial way.

South Korea's friendly against Greece will be played in England, so Seol won't go very far. Don't know how it will affect his fitness though..

If Convey is gonna play Saturday I don't think he should go. 3 matches in a week plus all the travel is not a good idea for a guy just comming back from injury.

He's fighting for a spot on the bench these days, so unfortunately I don't think he'll have any serious minutes against City - and the sooner he gets in front of Bradley, the better. I wonder if he and Bease will be taking the same flight to Phoenix.

Not this time, but he can hook up with Duece and Boca at Heathrow and catch a flight together. I'm guessing Howard would fly out of Liverpool.

Lita scored for England U21's off the bench to tie against Spain at 2-2. Will look for a highlight when I get home.

Hunt, a fairly late sub for Ireland against San Marino, bounced one off the post, almost scored on his debut. Actually, there's some time left...
