Albion travel up to the North-East on a bank holiday Monday to take on fellow relegated club Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

As much as we've not been happy about the Albion's performances so far (including the fact that the Dogheads are currently above us after Saturday's matches), one has to imagine what the Mackems are going through at the moment. They've got no points at all, and could face unthinkable successive relegations if they don't turn things round. Let's hope they don't by Monday, at least. Could Niall Quinn's fellow Irishman Roy Keane be taking over as manager?

Meanwhile, our own ex-Man U captain thinks things at Albion may have taken a turn for the better after our Cup win, but this away match against a team desperate for points has 'banana skin' written all over it. How will our performance at Orient change Robson's team selection?

This match is another Sky broadcast Setanta Broadband will show here in the States, so I'm looking forward to our hopefully beating the Mackems.

PATHETIC. That is about all I can say about Albion's first loss of the season today at Sunderland. As a result of our complete lack of quality and effort today, we've given the Black Cats their first points of the season.

Our defence was piss poor today. Sunderland reacted a step faster to the ball during the entire match. We only gave up the ONE goal in the first half, but we were lucky the Mackems weren't up by three by half time.

Meanwhile, we could do nothing in attack ourselves. I can't complain about our finishing, because there weren't really any chances for our strikers TO finish. Our passing in the final third of the pitch was dire. What's the point of having half-decent strikers if our midfielders like Gera, Chaplow and Greening can't get the ball to them? It seemed like the moment they felt pressure, the lost the ball or passed it very lazily.

EITHER SORT IT OUT OR F*** OFF, ROBSON!!!!

I've been talking about the game pretty much all day at work. As an Albion fan i'm used to seeing us lose but it's the way we lost yesterday that hurts. There was nothing there. No ideas, no pace, nobody taking the game by the balls, no heart. The fans that went travelled a very long way to watch that rubbish and witness Robson do nothing about it. He stood there for 90 minutes with his arms crossed looking bemused by it all. Yeah he made early subs but he never changed the system! Subs are pretty pointless in that situation if it's a like for like swap. Why didn't he change the system? Because he can't, he is tactically bereft of any ideas. He is an imposter. Get rid of him.

With the squad we have we should comfortably gain promotion this season but we don't have the manager to match and i think that will cost us.

There will no doubt be an outcry amongst Albion fans against Robson after yesterday's match. However, I don't think Peace will fire Robson soon. It may take more defeats like yesterday to open his eyes. I wonder, however, if there is a manager available who can right the ship.
