I am disappointed FoxSoccer Channel dropped the Bundesliga so now I'll have to pay for another channel to catch the German games.
Any idea why that happened?? When I finally moved back to the US from S America (Fox Sport Americas dropped bundesliga a few years back in S America) It was one of those things I was really, really looking forward to, like Sam Adams and New York style pizza...:D I'm here and now the've managed to f#ck me again!!!

[QUOTE=footyfan1]You obviously haven't seen Tinga yet. I think we got a real STEAL there. This guy already looks like he could be the best holding midfielder in the league. AND he helps offensively.QUOTE]
tinga and diego (from werder) are both steals of the year imho.....fantastic....
solid win for BVB....someone said this before but HSV is still trying to find their form....a loss to AFC in mid-week certainly did not help their confidence....
nevertheless -overall - a noticeable difference of BVB's play from last year....
good thing - our offense is still not firing on all cylinders
good times

Degen was pretty good, but more offensively than defensively. I guess BvM is going to let Degen try to make up some of the slack caused by Odonkor's departure.
From what I saw on Saturday, I don't think he can do that. Not in the Bundesliga anyhow.
I wasn't impressed at all with Frei on Saturday. Very average performance at best.

Your standards for "ATM the world is perfect" sure are lower than mine. For me to say that, we'd have to be in first place. The world can't be perfect for me when the likes of Hertha and FCN are in front of us.
And we're only ahead of Scheisse by one goal. Hardly reason for celebration.

Funny. In the replays I saw, the ball clearly hits the back of Woerns' head.
And it stood as a Woerns goal. I guess the rest of us don't have "Dede Glasses" :)
WE WON!!!!!!
In the end, in the Bundesliga, that's what matters.......

Yes, replay showed CLEARLY that someone hit the ball. Wasn't that clear what part of his body, but combined with Wörns statement it must have been his head.

Arena had a replay where you can see the ball hit the back of Woerns' head. At least that's what it looked like.

Not if you watched ARD ...the first replay and the picture itself showed that the ball went from dede directly into the net , only the 2nd Replay from another angle showed it was hit by wörns
If Keith would read everything he would see I allready said it ..

I don't have to depend on ARD. I have Arena. ;)

I responded to what I saw. 'Nuff said.

Well Degen is still pretty young give him some time...
As for Frei, I thought that he created a few good opportunities for scoring? Are you saying "average" because he didnt score?

Time isn't something we have a lot of. We bought these guys to produce now, not in two or three years.

He did, but he's supposed to do that. I'm saying average because he didn't do anything special. I expect him to set up others when he doesn't have opportunities himself.
Look. I know you're a big fan of the guy and that's cool. But I'm not going to swoon over him when he does what's expected. We needed someone to step up on Saturday and luckily for us, Wörns and Dede did.
In the next few matches, I want to see that from Frei and Smolarek.
Don't get me wrong. "Average" for Alexander Frei is good. Better than we've had up front in the past few years.
However, while he did play "well enough" he could have done better.

I find it quite "weird" that someone like Alex Frei has to shoot our cornerkicks...he should be in the centre and waiting for the balls to come in but apparently nobody from our team is good enough to shoot a damn corner....
