its not on fsc so everyone(USA) will have to scrable to catch the results.
u can catch it on 100centuryfm.com starting a 8:00am (west coast) because of the pregame stuff they talk about, its really good stuff because i never get to listen or watch anything about nufc..
kick off at 9:00am sunday. (west coast)
shola and given could miss with new signing martins also claered to play.
milner was awsome but charles was even better. Finnaly it seems like we have some options in attack. as dissapointing as luque was im not sure if we should play martins as lone striker in 4-5-1. the key is to get charles and martins to link up.
one interseting not for fsc fans, dishnetwork is trying to get setanta so we will be able to watch every match in the epl...

Last year's results vs Villa (from here (http://www.sportinglife.com/football/premiership/newcastle/reports/newcastle_2005.html))...
Dec 3 at SJP Newcastle 1 Aston Villa 1
Newcastle: Given, Ramage, Boumsong, Bramble, Elliott, Solano (Bowyer 87), Faye, Parker, Shearer, Chopra (Luque 81), Ameobi.
Aston Villa: Sorensen, Hughes, Mellberg, Ridgewell, Bouma, Hendrie, McCann, Davis (Bakke 61), Barry, Angel (Moore 62), Baros.
"Gareth Barry handed beleaguered Newcastle boss Graeme Souness a lifeline when he fired an 87th-minute penalty high over the crossbar.
The Magpies had looked on course for all three points as they entered the final quarter of an hour leading 1-0 through Alan Shearer's first-half penalty, the 198th goal of his career on Tyneside.
However, they crumbled at the death as former Sunderland midfielder Gavin McCann levelled after 75 minutes and then defender Titus Bramble needlessly conceded a spot-kick."
Feb 11 at VP Aston Villa 1 Newcastle 2 :D
Newcastle: Given, Ramage, Bramble, Boumsong, Babayaro, Solano (Elliott 66), Emre, Parker, N'Zogbia (Bowyer 85), Shearer, Ameobi (Dyer 69)
Aston Villa: Sorensen, Hughes, Mellberg, Delaney, Samuel, Gardner (Ridgewell 59), Hendrie (Baros 55), Barry, Whittingham, Moore, Phillips (Angel 55)
"Shay Given saved a second-half penalty from Milan Baros as 10-man Newcastle maintained their mini-revival under Glenn Roeder and took advantage of Aston Villa's dreadful home form.
Substitute Baros had a golden chance to bring Villa on level terms for a second time after he was brought down by Celestine Babayaro, who was deemed to be the last defender by referee Mike Riley.
But Baros opted to shoot straight down the middle of the goal and was outfoxed by Given, who kept his eye on the ball and saved with his feet.
Villa, lacking three of their first-choice midfield in Steven Davis, Gavin McCann and James Milner, camped in the Magpies half for the second period as they tried to make their numerical advantage count."
That was Roeder's second win.
---------------------------
I'll take any points at Villa but definitely hoping for 3. And goals, goals, goals from Martins.

Emre off, Butt on. Martins down on the pitch to boot. Same ol' Newcastle. :(
EDIT: They stretchered him off the pitch, looked him over and sent him down the tunnel. He won't be back, and we've already used all three subs. Bad news all the way around.

Emre off, Butt on. Martins down on the pitch to boot, right after we used our third sub. Same ol' Newcastle. :(
Well, bad luck and a bad day of management from GR. Our third sub would not have been used if he had started N'Zogbia. As far as the Martins injury; It's almost hard to believe it's true. It's like we are part of a fiction about a hard luck football club!
