I hope they do. At least then there will be a team Milan can consistently beat in the league...

Celtic and Rangers will play in the EPL before this will happen--and they won't be playing in it in this decade.Sheer nonsence from him.
Reminds me of the spoilt child "i'm taking my ball home with me" scene.

Still the same idiot he always was. Good to see that some things never change.

Hope to see Bayern go down.

This will never happen. I doubt the Italian FA would even allow Bayern to just waltz into Serie A. If they really want to play in Italy they should have to go through the lower divisions to get there.

I seriously doubt if Bayern would be allowed to go to Italy for a number of reasons. But if they were, do you seriously think they should have to beat up on the lower division teams to work their way up?

They're a Champions League team for cripes sake.

LOL. Franz must have thought the Bundesliga was the SPL.
"Wir are too gut to play des German clubs"
But why Italy? The Italian FA would definitely say no to this one.

Yeah actually I do. I think they should have to start at the bottom. Why should they be allowed to go straight into Serie A, taking the place of a Serie B team that worked their asses off just to get promoted. Its the only fair way to do it.

This is a ludicris statement, it goes against all precidence, not to mention years of history and also common sense. Munich is in germany and therefore Bayern MUNICH plays in the Bundesliga IN GERMANY (duh!). If teams start playing in other country's leagues it will become very chaotic, similar to the transfer market. Whoever started this thread is an Anarchist I think.

Its just an empty threat by Beckenbauer so he doesn't have to hand over the cash he got off of Bayern's secret TV deal. There's no way in hell a team of Bayern's magnitude is leaving Germany. It would completely throw off the balance of European soccer. If Beckenbauer has ideas like this, I wonder what he thinks of the Euroleague concept?
