Any word on Sonko's appeal? Based on what I saw, he should be able to play on Saturday...if a decision can be reached that quickly.

They wont be appealing -
Reading will not appeal against the red card awarded to Ibrahima Sonko at a key moment of the 2-1 defeat at Aston Villa
The Royals are convinced referee Lee Mason over-reacted after the centre-back had tripped Luke Moore in the box on Wednesday night.
The Premiership newcomers feel simply awarding the penalty, which Juan Pablo Angel converted, was the correct action and Sonko now misses Saturday's trip to Wigan.
Royals coach Kevin Dillon said: "We won't appeal. We could have but they might then have given him another two games. You have just got to take it on the chin.
"The reaction of the referee was disappointing. It was a penalty, fair enough, but the referee sprinted across. He couldn't wait to get his red card out."
Dillon compared Mason's stewardship with that of Mark Halsey, who had taken charge of Reading's Premiership debut, at home to Middlesbrough the previous Saturday.
He said: "The game last week with Mark Halsey was completely different. He took his time and spoke to his linesmen and the fourth official.
"But this referee flung his card up when he should have thought about it because there was no intent. Sonko has been punished three times because it was a penalty, he was sent off and now he is missing a game."

They probably will so in the interests of "fool me once ..." I'm going for the strategically placed construction paper.

Kitson available for this one? He wasn't listed on the subs bench for the AV game and I haven't see anything. Thanks!

Kitson is out, but the int break follows this game, so he might be healthy for the next game.
Upside, cruz has signed, though he won't be on the gameday roster for this one either.
Shane long will take a spot with kitson out.

I think it will be impossible to watch or listen to this one live. I guess I'll have to settle for matchtracker, or maybe just wait to the replay.
Here are the lineups on soccernet.
Wigan Reading
13 Chris Kirkland (G) (G) Marcus Hahnemann 1
26 Leighton Baines (D) (D) Ivar Ingimarsson 16
17 Emmerson Boyce (D) (D) Graeme Murty 2
6 Arjan De Zeeuw (D) (D) Nicky Shorey 3
5 Fitz Hall (D) (D) Sam Sodje 18
18 Paul Scharner (D) (M) Bobby Convey 17
14 Denny Landzaat (M) (M) James Harper 15
16 Antonio Valencia (M) (M) Steve Sidwell 4
7 Henri Camara (S) (S) Kevin Doyle 9
9 Emile Heskey (S) (S) Seol Ki-Hyeon 19
10 Lee McCulloch (S) (S) Leroy Lita 8
Substitutes
12 Michael Pollitt (G) (G) Graham Stack 21
2 Pascal Chimbonda (D) (M) Brynjar Gunnarsson 6
4 Matt Jackson (D) (M) Stephen Hunt 10
8 Graham Kavanagh (M) (M) John Oster 11

Don't pay much attention to the formation, they almost always get it wrong.

Interesting. I had heard that Chimbonda was finally healthy, but that Wigan's mgmt was benching him for publically asking for a transfer... Guess the proof's in the pudding.

Convey springs Lita for a shot on goal from the edge of the 18, but Wigan's keeper handles it well.

Oops! Heskey hits the corner of the post/crossbar on a cross from Valencia. Murty and Shorey were completely at sea, and Hanneman was beaten but saved by the woodwork.

Things seem to be opening up a bit after a tight opening 15 minutes. Sidwell with a nice run, but his cross is scrambled away by a dodgy Wigan D.
