FC Bayern Munchen (2nd seed I think right? That means they have to play one of the Euro Superpowers)
Werder Bremen (ditto)
Hamburger SV (3rd seed)

Bayern is in pot 2, so they will have the "easiest" draw of the German teams in CL.
Bremen is in pot 3 and Hamburg in pot 4, so two class teams against them.

At UEFA-cup there Schalke, Leverkusen and Hertha (if they qualify)
are all seeded, while Frankfurt is most propably unseeded
(13 teams higher ranked than them would have to struggle before Frankfurt would be seeded).

If you look how Liverpool played the last weeks (2-1, 1-1 against Haifa in qualification, 1-1 against Sheffield and friendlies: 0-5 against Mainz, 2-3 against Lautern, they would be my prefered English team,
but they will propably improve in the course of time.

Agreed...but it clearly showed the difference in class-levels between the two teams..IMHO. Friendly or not, I think Bayern will not go far in the CL. I just cannot seem them beating the likes of Barca, Real, Chelsea, Arsenal, etc.

Im exited, I cant wait to finally know who we are playing!

I think Bayern and Werder could go to the semifinals with a little luck, while HSV... well you never know, but as long as they dont finish 4th they should be satisfied...

Schalke and Leverkusen should be able to make some damage in the UEFA Cup... but as usualy they prolly wont...
Hertha will provide us with some quality 0-0s...
And we... well, we're hoping for a decend draw so that we can reach the groupstage... that would be amazing... on the other hand, if we go out in first round but i get to travel to Amsterdam, Paris or Glasgow, I would be allright with that too... :D

It´s a 30-70 to get a not so strong seeded team for Eintracht,
we´ll see on Friday.
Hopefully you don´t have bad luck like Mainz last season and
play against the team, that wins the cup
(last year: Mainz 0-0 0-2 Sevilla in 1st round).

The other team should get makeable opponents, but there are also some
strong non-seeded teams:
Tottenham (with Berbatov), West Ham Utd., Dynamo Zagreb, Belgrad, ...

I agree on Werder. I think they are strong and if they stay healthy and focused, they are capable of reaching the semis.

No offense intended, but regarding Bayern, I do not see them as that strong. I do not think they can compete even against Werder. They are not as deep as in the past, nor do they have the skills to combat the likes of a Real, Barca, Chelsa, Arsenal, Werder, AC Milan, Inter, etc.
