rovers bid for dutch international defender andre ooijer has been accepted by psv and is on his way to blackburn for personal terms and a medical.The fee is 2.1 million pounds and he is expected to make his debut againt chelsea on sunday

It is WAY too early to call Ooijer a failure. Hois first game he had been with the team for less than three days and is plopped down in a game versus Chelsea. Against Sheff Utd he wasn't sharp or crisp or anything but to be fair nobody else was on the team. The lad hasn't been a Dutch International and a member of the best Dutch League team for nothing. He ultimately might not make it, but it's way too early to tell.
