Sunday the 27th.

Telefutura
America vs. Veracruz - 5 PM ET / 4 PM CT / 2 PM PT*

Record between these two team is in the favor of America over the last ten games.

6 wins - 2 losses - 2 draws

Grupo 3.

Toulca 9
Tigres 7
Pumas 6
Club America 4
Morelia 3
Santos 2

Yes Aguilas this game is needs to be a win, as all game should, but this one is needed. I really will be upset if Mosqueda does not get some action. The kid looked fresh and different out there. Let's give two games to work before we send him to San Luis.

*Telly times thanks to RiverPlate.

To be under two teams that are being like crap really tells you how much of season were having. This team is soo unbalanced,I really don't see it how the team will end up being even at all ends.

We could pray for Blanco to start this upcoming game, but Blanco just can't do all this work that we want by himself.Players will go after him to bring him down, literally and mentally.

We could wish for a team that played like the team from Apertura 2005, but that team had...
A becoming of Age Ochoa
A Davino not making stupid fouls
A Solid Rojas
An Inspired Rojitas
A wanting to prove Rodriguez
A flanker Castro
An allfielder Villa
A guaranteed Pardo
An IM back! Blanco
An effort Soares/Gimenez
A playing withthebigboys Torres
A Talisman
A Player showing the reason why he was brougt from overseas
An a guy who out of 5 shots one goal was guaranteed.
and a good coach.

and now we have 3 lost players and a Pena.

however this season ends up, lets start buying for the back.

I dont think we should rush Cuauhtemoc out there. Lapuente did that and we ended up paying for it.

So I am guessing no one cares about this game :(

I want to stop making predictions from now on.

Estoy salado.

I still don't put much weight into the results.

Its not how you start a torneo its how you finish it.

This team is still getting accustomed to playing with each other.

And an important part is missing (Cuah).

Aslong as they can not lose to many points they will improve over time.

The firepower is too great. We have too many options for it not to happen.

yea this game is a must win because we need the points, and we're playing at home.

i want america to start playing well again, im tired of them not scoring much:mad:

right now they have an average of .66 goals per match. by the end of the season i want that average atleast at 3 goals per game.

I don't care about the averages so long as the wins get racked up. I'm with Aguilas I'm worried about Cuau bust his knee caps again.

well i dont want america barely getting by winning 1-0, 2-1 etc.
with our forwards that will be a dissapointment. every once in a while i would like to see 3-0, 4-1, 5-0 scored like that

Yea, the talent up top is undeniable. They have to find the rhythm. Decide where Pipino can get more touches. Get the ball to Vuoso in the box. Sign Pony.

Veracruz might be a good match to get some momemtum going. Tressor likes to stretch the field and play very direct attacking ball.
This could open things up for Aguilas.

I'd like to see something like the first 60' of Barcelona.

Flowing.

I'm fickle. I give them two more weeks to get me interested, if they don't get 4pts, I'll follow from afar. I had all the games taped and watched most of them. I found myself making excuses for my team. No Cuah, one man down etc....

I could not do that. Win, lose, draw I have to see it. I support no matter what the situation.

4 Pts in the next two weeks sounds very plausible.

Reading the previo on mediotiempo it seems there's an outside chance Cuau may get his first minutes of the season, not a newsflash I know. Just saying.

I'm not saying I'll stop supporting, watching etc. I'm just trying to convince myself no to get too involved. I'm loyal to a fault, so I have to temper myself when the team is not up to par.

I'm with you Americaforlife, I really don't like people that are there only in the good times. Everyone was a hardcore Americanista last year when we were breaking records. As soon as times god rough todos esos putos amargos le dieron la espalda al equipo. Remeber in 2000 when everyone was an Atlas fan? Just 2 years ago I could have sworn there were more Pumistas then America and Chivas fans combined.

this is our chance to get back on top in our group. pumas tied. so they're at 7 points like tigres. if we win by 2 goals will be 3rd in our group and if we win by 3 we will be in second.

si asi se les hinchan los huevos y se sienten mas cabrones, then you're a better fan. I know I'm not a fair weather fan. But I don't hide my intelligence behind words like "fanatic" or "passionate". I'm objective.
Who the hell is jumping ship? I'm waiting for the game to start and rooting for my team. I just expect results given the firepower we have.

that just makes people think your not a "real" fan. you dont just say "ok if america doesnt win next week im going to stop following them". even if they do bad you still got to keep supporting america.

when your team is loosing, the last 5 minutes of the game are always tough to watch because you see your team playing desperatly to get a win. but i still watch the whole game because i support my team

Read carefully. I made statements like "i'm loyal to a fault" and "follow from afar". I'm a demanding mother ********er and if you guys misread that its cool. I never stated I'd stop following the team. shit most posters here couldn't tell between their own ass and Carlos de los Cobos anyways. I'm not tripping.

Gots to get my brew and head down to my pad and watch the game.
