There seems to be a wide range of opinions regarding Boumsong on the Juventus Boards (http://bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=399063) :)

He would be good in Serie B but in the Serie A, he doesn't have what it takes. He was disappointing at Newcastle and Juve shouldn't have bought him.

He will improve at juve amd will kill the serie A, Next Thuram

How is he going to kill Serie A when he'll be almost 30 when they get back after the Italian Federation relegate them again for going to the civil courts? :D

What a wanker.

My Toon Nightmare (http://icnewcastle.icnetwork.co.uk/newcastleunited/chroniclesport/tm_objectid=17657146%26method=full%26siteid=50081%26headline=boum%2d%2dmy%2dtoon%2dnightmare-name_page.html)

Boumsong is now bracing himself for a season in football's second tier in Italy and said: "My objective is to work as hard as possible to improve myself.

"I am sure I can make it that way. Hard work always pays off."

So why didn't it pay off for the Toon, or were you not working hard? Good riddens to bad rubbish.

To be fair, he had a sick wife and child in France this past season, which had to affect his performances. He sucked, but he did have a lot on his mind. Now he can suck it up in Seria B, though I must admit I'm shocked anyone paid for him.

Juventus started their campaign in Italy's Serie B by being held to a 1-1 draw at 10-man Rimini.

Defender Matteo Paro gave them the lead on the hour mark and Rimini midfielder Domenico Cristiano was then sent off for a challenge on Pavel Nedved.

But a misunderstanding between Robert Kovac and Jean-Alain Boumsong allowed Adrian Ricchiuti in for the equaliser.

Positively shocking. :D

Positively shocking. :D

I chuckled when I read he was part of the botchery leading to the goal.

Well, Boum actually scored today. And it's not even a own goal. Wow!
