I fought it as long as I could.
After the All-Star match, I was browsing the net and saw one of my images in somebody's page. I sent him a message that just said "Nice shot" and he told me he had taken it while in Chicago.
I asked him how it was, then, that I had the original high-res version, and he did not. No reply.
I can only imagine Andy's frustration. He's trying to make a living at this, while I'm just playing around.

I love getting to see pics of my favorite team. I currently have one of Matt's photos as my background/wallpaper pic on my computer. I have no qualms with him or Andy or anyone else who chooses to share their work with us doing it on their terms, especially since the likely alternative is no pics at all.

Man, that really sucks.
It was mostly aggravating to see how brazen he was.
Who was the loser who stole you stuff?
Don't know. Don't care.
(To feed my fantasies, I think I'll start believing that Tony Quinn is stealing my images. :D )

What SLR do you use Matt?
I've been saving pennies for a while and am itching to get a digital SLR before I take a trip to Spain in Sept.

I use a Nikon D70. I love it. It's a great general-purpose DSLR.
If you're looking at Nikon, do your best to get the 18-200 VR lens. If you can get it in time, that is. It's the closest thing to a do-everything lens I've ever seen. You can get wide shots at 18mm and tight closeups at 200mm, all without carrying and swapping out heavy glass. The V(ibration) R(eduction) means that you get an incredibly stable image even when shooting handheld, and you can generally get usable shots in amazingly little light.

Has anyone else noticed that the reserves are 1-2 since the veterans shaved their heads? Maybe a little Sampson thing going on here. Just saying....

That's true of most things you join, isn't it?

Yeah, that's me all over. :)
A real corporation would be able to afford decent equipment. I had real 'lens envy' sitting amongst the pro photographers at the Real Madrid match. They all had fast 300mm or 400mm lenses. That's OK, I got some decent shots anyway.

Eye candy.
You can't just have a gallery of soccer action shots, can you?
:D
(I thought it was a decent picture, actually.)
