unless of course its time wasting.
draw would be good for liverpool.
Yeah, but for a team like Liverpool that shouldn't be the goal against the champions of Israel when the game's not even being played in Israel!
By the way, what's the crowd like? Pro Liverpool?

Gerrard on for Sissoko.
Mate, Sissoko is actually injured and he was covering his eye.

Liverpool are down to 10 men at the moment, I believe Gerrard will be making an enterance shortly.
This post just reminded me -- with Stevie on the bench and Carra injured, who's wearing the armband? Hyypia I presume?

It's pretty quiet although you can hear the 500 Liverpool fans singing in the background.

I think it's Hyppia, I'm not entirely sure on that one.

Oh I wasn't accusing at all, not even partially. Not even watching the game! (at work :( )
Just sayin that either he's injured or he's wasting time if he's on a stretcher.

If Haifa get another and go to extra time, that would have to be terrible for Liverpool, more than usual I mean. 2 of your substitutions would have been injury and not the usual for fatigue and tactics, with 1 coming in the first half.

He went in for a challenge and then suddenly he was on the floor, holding his face, but I believe he has done something to his leg, you'll have to wait until later on to find out what's happened.
I just hope it's not his eye, it would be ashame to see someone so young, with so much talent have to quit the game before we saw him at his best.

Didn't Sissoko just come back from some sort of eye injury?
Yes, someone who is watching the game, please tell what happened!
Thanks, Drench. :)

Was there blood? You're talking as if he's blind! how serious is it?

This Aurelio fella looks great at taking freekicks, he just had one a min ago and it went wide, but he does look dangerous, move over Beckham. ;)

The guy doing PbP for the Guardian said he looked to have twisted his knee.

Speculation but he was also holding his side when he was down. They picked him up by his legs and loaded him which would be a shock if there was something wrong with his leg/knee.

No, there wasn't but he was holding his eye, but from the replay's it looks like a leg injury, not bang in the face and what not, so I'm confused by it.
Hyypia's been booked and to answer someone's question earlier, he is captain.

Masudi almost made it 2-1, he didn't make great contact on the volley.
