1. We need a strong midfielder, German is getting old and thats the position we had of been looking for early this summer, Pavel is gone so 75% of the midfield left, I hope that we can do better in the next couple of games.

2. Tena necesita usar mas a los carrileros, usar a piojo como extremo, tener una linea de 4 DOS contenciones, con un rombo en el medio, y dos delanteros.

3. I dont know why in the hell did they get Cabanas, no puede correr, necesitamos un equipo dinamico y muy rapido, aqui va mi aliniacion...

4. Blanco is deff going to be a big solution, he knows how to push the team forward, he brings in more ppl to watch him so that means not to much push from the oppsing team.

the next 3 games are, veracruz(home). Chiapas(away) and Toluca(home)...it looks difficult but, Blanco is coming back. I only hope the team make a good game against Veracruz.

MÉXICO, D.F. (Notimex) -- Pese a que América no encuentra un funcionamiento adecuado y los resultados han sido poco convincentes, su técnico Luis Fernando Tena decidió darle descanso al equipo el domingo y regresar a los trabajos este lunes.


El equipo de Coapa arribó a la capital del país poco después de la dos de la mañana, luego de perder la víspera 2-0 ante los Rojinegros del Atlas, un partido en el no tuvieron oportunidad alguna de buscar el empate debido a la falta de profundidad de su delantera.


La buena noticia para el América es que el atacante Cuauhtémoc Blanco comenzará su rehabilitación en el aspecto físico y se pondrá a disposición del preparador alemán Axel Bierbaum.


No se reportan lesionados y este lunes se reintegrará a la plantilla el mediocampista Carlos Infante, quien no vio acción con Aguilas debido a que jugó con los Cañeros de Zacatepec, en el duelo que cayeron por la mínima diferencia ante Cruz Azul Hidalgo en la Primera "A".


El cuadro americanista recibirá el próximo domingo a Tiburones Rojos del Veracruz en el Estadio Azteca, en duelo correspondiente a la fecha cuatro del Torneo Apertura 2006.

Exactly, the defense isn't particularly terrible, it's the midfield and the attack. Cuautemoc plays as an attacking midfielder!! He will help tremendously, he will open up the field and create plays.

I dont think Club Americas problems lie with the players but staff, too many coaches and too many directives that like to medle with club affairs. I know in the past quite a few staff has been removed, including Zague, but CA continues to have the same problems.

Now, with a director deportivo like Lapuente and two able coaches like the Tena Bros, you would like to think the CA staff are knowledgable enough to have worked out the squads problems from last seaon and not overlooked the deficiancies that the Mara Salva Wilas in this forumare pin pointing.
