Instead of clogging up our matchday thread, Clan suggested starting a thread to discuss other matches. Here it is:D
Berbatov looks worth every penny Spudz paid, the only player doing anything as they trail Bolton 2-0.

Pool and the Arse both drop points. If we win tomorrow and ManU don't, will the bookies decide to pay out on bets for the Prem title?

my observation from today. Spurs looked like crap, totally awful. Newcastle looked decent. But my team of the day is definitely Reading. Those lads played with so much heart and passion, it was lovely to see such display. They will surely be this year's Wigan. Congrats to them.
Good to see Pool and Gooners drop points.

Liverpool were lucky to get the point, it didn't look like there was much contact when Gerrard went down. Tottenham looked short of ideas, and Lennon was pretty much shut down by the Bolton backline.
Duff looked a bit rusty for Newcastle, but he showed some good touches (especially on the 2nd goal) and looked fairly dangerous at times.

Wow, didn't expect Arsenal and Liverpool to lose points. Hopefully we will have a better start tomorrow.

Haven't seen the 'Pool game, but Villa looked awful today. It sucks for Mellberg that he's never played for a better side, he's a fabulous player. The new Arsenal stadium is quite nice.

Great to see Carlton score for West Ham. Its too bad he never proved himself at Chelsea.

Those Mancaneers doing well today and Fulham are not a shoddy side. The Mancaneers looking very sharp, especially Rooney, Cronaldo and Saha. Scholes and Giggs playing well too; Can those two last the season? Can Carrick, Park and [Hargreaves] cover for them?
Rio made his usual mistake [at least one bad mistake per game], but I think that the Mancaneers may be the early pace setters this season. I mean they are not really settling in any new players, have few injuries and they have some well rested players. They are going to be stiffer opposition this year methinks.

Yeah I was impressed with how well they mounted a challange last season. They play a kamikaze style football, where they attack and keep attacking scoring and conceding, and with an ultimate goal of scoring more than the oppontent scores. Still all the attackers and midfielders have a great understanding with one another. Evra also looked suprisingly good as well.

Still can't believe CessPool dropped, what I thought, was a fairly easy 3pts.
*shakes head*
Besides the Chelsea match, the most entertaining match was the Reading vs. Middlesbrough game. An eventfilled 1st half!
I'm really rooting for Reading to be successful in the Prem.

The first half in the United game was fantastic I thought.
They played some great football.
Fulham were made to look quite poor.
Time will tell though, if that was an indication of how good United are, or how bad Fulham will be this season.

Anyone watching the Liverpool vs. Maccabi Haifa CL qualifier match. Liverpool are currently leading 1-1 and 3-2 on aggregate, but have already lost Warnock and Momo Sissoko to injury.

Nah - I've got the Watford game on.
Entertaining, despite the 0-0 scoreline.

Yeah - Liverpool are looking a bit suspect here as Haifa are going forward after their goal. Maccabi Haifa have 15 minutes to score another one. If Haifa were slightly better passers, they might be ahead.

Stupid England - its not on.
Maccabi Haifa almost scored as they got past Reina. Should hopefully be an exciting last 10 minutes.
