Trivia: Electronic Music Band named for Soccer Team

A friend called me tonight and said she was at a trivia contest at a bar where she heard the question: "What electronic music band is named for a soccer team?" Her group missed the answer, but then she thought I would know. Alas, I do not. I even browsed the internet to look for clues. :)

The first band that came to mind was Kaiser Chiefs, but they are not electronic. Then I thought of St. Germain, but he is named for the person, not the soccer team in Paris.

Any guesses?

It's Saint Etienne. The French club was pretty good in the 70s, shame I can't say the same about the band.

Don't ask me why they named themselves after it. Or even why I know that.
