View Full Version : Request from DCU re Aug 19 game
As this is an ESPN/national broadcast game, the team is asking fans to be in their seats and being rowdy about 15 min before kickoff (so when the cameras go on it's not a sea of orange seats).
I've heard it's going to be a nice sized crowd, 17,000-ish

Never too early to start!
Besides, with the Eagles you're probably a little less likely to get into anything that may end up on your PERMANENT RECORD compared to hanging with our brothers and sisters in the Barra! ;)

Thats right! We scar you for LIFE!
Who wants to be responsible for trying to get the Barra to stop hitting the margarita keg 15 min. earlier?
anybody?

I think somebody will step up if you rephrase into:
"Who thinks they can help the Barra kill the margarita keg 15 min. earlier?"
:D

I'd rather try and take food away from a hyena.

I'm gonna go ahead and nominate Riz... she is a trooper and a champion and will heed the call to drink a little faster...
She is, in short, my drinking hero.

he's under 18. whats the worst they could do to him?
then again, his mother might be more fearsome than the authorities.

Guys, treat this as an opportunity. 15 minutes earlier in the stands just means we have to start the tailgate 15 minutes earlier to accomodate.

Your 18th birthday is very special to a little hoolie.
It is the day where your record is wiped clean, and you can begin to fill it with big boy crimes.

Did you happen to catch 'Shark Week' on the Discovery Channel a few weeks back? I've seen feeding frenzies, it ain't a pretty sight.

I will be there early, probably early at the SE(BB, and LN as well if possible) tailgate, to help set up if need be, and appreciated...
I hope to also be in the stands early as well. Would love to get things started and rowdy for when the guys take the field, so they know they have the 12th man. I'm going to be high energy, I know we all want to see the Rapids turned into a wading pool. We owe them a crushing blow...

$20 to join the Barra, which gets you a Barra jersey and free food and booze for the season. Look me up at the tailgate.
