haha, soo random. hsv starts it and first post is schalke. are we being invaded? :p just kidding

i think he has the chance to score around 10 or 11 goals but most of them I feel will be scored around winter break and after. I don't expect much if anything from him right now especially with the feeling out of our midfield.

Correct.

I won't give him unnecessary pressure right now (as if he is reading this thread!:p )

I just hope that he plays well and gets into the groove asap. He can provide great assists, not only can he scores.

I'd say around 8-11 goals overall which is fine by me. I don't expect him to take off right away and probably see him having a similar season that he had with Koeln last year where he really started picking up after the winter break.

He's still young and he'll improve. Besides, I don't think Magath will start him in every game anyways.

without ballack, the forwards could finally enjoy some goals.

Well, Makaay's been one of the Bundesliga's top scorers for several years now...

I just found 2 hilarious youtube clips of Poldi, Schweini and Lahmi appearing in acomedyshow during their Japan travel.

If you take the look at Poldis leg muscles in the second clip, you know he will score mucho mucho.

I read the other day (perhaps it was in Kicker) that Podolski is still more pop star than footballer, and I would agree.

Look for Podolski to score 5-6 goals this season.

what the hEll? he doesn't even have the looks for a pop star. look at Ronaldo at ManU and Becks at Madrid and Kaka at Milan. I just can't see him having the looks for it, but i do know he is better lookin than his buddy Schweinsteiger

Well, the guy who posted before me implied that Ballack took away our forwards' goal scoring chances.

Even worse! Although some of our fellow Bayern supporters would disagree...
