I heard the rumor that he was dead. Can't confirm it one way or the other. Best I can do is that the 1999 One-Hit-Wonder singer (Mambo #5) received an award in 2000. Where's he been since? If you can provide any links, thanks.

He's not listed as dead on the Dead People Server (http://www.dpsinfo.com/dps/bnames.html#top), so he's probably alive.

But he's also not listed as alive.
Supposedly he is touring in Germany and Poland right now. (did some 3am research).
But I had heard he was dead, and there was a thread started on his IMDB page back in 2004 about that rumor. Just kinda wondering where it came from.

FYI, Mambo #5 was probably the worst thing to have come out of Germany since the Blitzkreig.

I was working a dance club once when we hosted the DJ Louis Vega, who, iirc was quite good. Nonetheless, there were these two drunk floozies that acosted me because they thought Lou Bega was playing. No real point to the story, but Lou Bega sucks.
